Make the arts your business!
Saint Paul City Ballet has found that more and more businesses want to give in their own neighborhoods. In return for their support, businesses receive local visibility as contributors and often tickets for their employees or customers. And as studies have shown, the arts increase the quality of life in a city, thus making it a better place in which to do business.
Businesses provide support to SPCB in several ways:
 |
Performances. Businesses demonstrate their commitment to the arts by supporting the SPCB. Corporate giving helps the SPCB realize its vision of “aspiring to the highest levels of artistic achievement” by ensuring that SPCB continues to create great performances and attract aspiring dancers locally with the best dance training available. SPCB offers business opportunities for visibility and recognition through our local engagements, special events, and education and community programs. The beautiful choreography and costumes, the collaborations with choreographers and musicians, and the excellent dance education at the school are possible only through this partnership.

 |
Outreach program. SPCB offers reduced-cost classes in the North End of St. Paul, subsidized by businesses that are helping to make dance classes accessible to those who might otherwise not be able to afford them. For example, Equity Services of St. Paul provides studio space and Dar’s Double Scoop Ice Cream & Coffee Shop on Rice Street has contributed operational support for these reduced-cost classes. The Headwaters Group, a philanthropic services company, has also directly supported this outreach to new students by sponsoring an event that raised $8,000. |

On-going operational support. Businesses help SPCB realize its vision of “aspiring to the highest levels of artistic achievement” by giving financial support to its performances throughout the year. The beautiful choreography and costumes, the collaborations with choreographers and musicians, and the excellent dance education at the school are possible only through this partnership.
