Pre-professional

The curriculum is divided into two levels and provides professional training in classical ballet based on the Vaganova Method. All classes are accompanied by accomplished pianists. Advancement is determined by the students’ progress in developing technical skills, strength, and flexibility. Parental support is encouraged.

Studio Company
Students will further develop their artistry and ballet technique by performing with the Saint Paul City Ballet Studio Company. Choreography will be taken from both classical and contemporary repertoire. Prerequisites: By invitation of the School Director only.

Annual Studio Company dancewear and performance fee: $100 (Studio Company performances are in addition to Pre-professional performances).

Tuition: Tuition includes all performance and costume fees.
The program is designed for a full academic year of training from September through May split into trimesters:
Fall (September, October, November)
Winter (December, January, February)
Spring (March, April, May)
Save $15 off your tuition each trimester by paying through automatic withdrawal from your credit card. Pay your tuition in three equal installments: September 1, 2011; December 1, 2011; and March 1, 2012. To enroll, a signed SPCB School credit card authorization form must be on file. The tuition will be drawn out within the first week of each trimester.

Annual registration fee: $50 individual; $55 family. Non-refundable.
This one-time per year fee covers administrative costs for registering, database management, and processing transactions during the year. This allows us to keep our per class rates down.

Spring Gala production (Apr-May 2012)

Performances: The Enchanted Toy Shop Dec 16-18, 2011 (by invitation) and Spring Gala May 18-20, 2012 (all students)

Studios at 1680 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, 2 blocks west of Snelling Avenue. Entrance on Cambridge Avenue.
 Free on-street parking.
