Adult Ballet
If you danced as a child and would like to begin again, or wanted to dance and never had the chance, this program is for you. Teachers are dedicated to instructing adults in the full Vaganova syllabus, as well as incorporating Russian, Cecchetti, and American styles. This is exercise in its most elegant form...it feeds the soul as well as the body. Minimum age for adult classes is 18. Classes run on a continuous basis throughout the year. Enrollment is ongoing.
Adult 1
No previous ballet experience required. Learn the technique and artistry of ballet as well as musicality and terminology accompanied by a pianist. Classes run on a continuous basis throughout the year. Each class provides an introduction to a complete ballet barre and basic centre exercises. Pre-registration is required to reserve a place in class (this class fills quickly).

Mar 16, and Mar 23 - May 11. Cost is $65 per session.
Adult 2
Classes run on a continuous basis throughout the year and are accompanied by a pianist with a full barre and centre work. Students must have previous classical ballet training and knowledge of barre and centre work. These classes offer more demanding movement vocabulary and longer combinations.

Adult 3
Classes run on a continuous basis throughout the year and are accompanied by a pianist with a full barre and centre work. Students must have previous classical ballet training and knowledge of barre and centre work. These classes offer more demanding movement vocabulary and longer combinations. Adults design their own schedule and may also attend equivalent classes in the Pre-Professional program with permission from the Director.

• Performance opportunities: Spring Gala May 20-22, 2011 (All students who are interested in performing may participate). Adult holiday show roles will be filled by audition. No performance or costume fees.

Single class rate: $15
Senior Citizen (62+ with valid ID) Single class rate: $9
Class cards:
2 Class card- $25 and expires the last day of each month.
3 Class card- $35 and expires the last day of each month.
4 Class card- $45 and expires the last day of each month.
6 Class card- $65 and expires the last day of each month.
8 Class card- $80 and expires the last day of each month.
10 Class card- $90 and expires the last day of each month.
Carte Blanche (unlimited classes)- $105 and expires the last day of each month. Beginning with the first full month, Oct.
Annual enrollment fee: $55 individual; $60 family.
This one-time per year fee covers administrative costs for registering, database management, and processing transactions during the year. This allows us to keep our per class rates down.
Undergraduate Study Break price is $5 per class, from September through May. Must present a current student ID from one of the universities in the Twin Cities area.
Expiration exceptions: Class cards do not expire for adults who are away for military service, family care giving, or travel extensively for work. See School Director for prior approval.
Give Back and Get Back!
Each family and/or dancer who volunteers 4 hours for the year will receive a $20 credit toward tuition. Credit will be given in December for 1st semester volunteering OR in May for 2nd semester volunteering.

Studios at 1680 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, 2 blocks west of Snelling Avenue. Entrance on Cambridge Avenue.

DRESS CODE
Women: Leotard or comfortable top, optional tights/leggings/skirts, pink or black ballet slippers recommended.
Men: White t-shirt, black tights or pants, dance belt, white socks, black or white ballet slippers recommended.
