Students develop an appreciation of dance for worship and praise in a Judeo-Christian faith tradition. Ballet technique is studied as the foundation. Students are encouraged to grow in their technique and artistry as well as in their dance expression of their faith. Choreography is set to music from the Judeo-Christian hymn, contemporary, and sacred music tradition. Also included is education about appropriate liturgical/evangelical costuming.
The Sacred Arts classes meet weekly throughout the school year (September-May) and are in addition to student’s ballet curriculum. Students must be enrolled in SPCB Level III-IV ballet program. Class cards may not be used for these classes.
Tuition for Levels III, IV, and V: Add $50 to monthly ballet tuition
Tuition for Level VI: Carte blanche
