School Policies

I. Tuition and Registration

Classes begin September 10, and registrations are now being accepted for the 2007-2008 dance season. All students must complete the registration form and return with the annual registration fee ($25 individual; $35 family). A 10% discount will be given to students in the Performing Arts Program or Young Dancers Program who pay the yearly tuition in full before September 10, 2007. Registrations will not be accepted until account balances are paid in full from the prior season. Check with the Director if you are uncertain about which classes or programs to register for or if you have questions about class placement for the upcoming year. All classes are held at the Grand Avenue Studios in St. Paul.

The culmination of the school year is the Spring Gala, a showcasing of all classes and levels. This year’s Spring Gala performances will be held on May 21-22 (Wednesday and Thursday) at the E.M. Pearson Theatre, Concordia University. To perform in the Spring Gala, you must take classes January through May 2008. Spring Gala performance fees are due at the time of registration, and no later than January 1, 2008. (To purchase Spring Gala tickets before the performance, student accounts must be paid in full.)

  • Registrations cannot be accepted by phone (please register in person or by mail).
  • There is no refund on registration fees.
  • Tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable. No refunds will be given once the class registered for has begun.
  • Credit for tuition or extensions on class cards are given only in cases of injury or serious illness where medical documentation is provided.
  • A $25 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.
  • Holidays, school breaks, and classes canceled due to inclement weather are included in tuition.
  • Make-up classes, when available, must be granted by the Director and taken within 30 days within the same discipline.

II. Studio Rules and Regulations

All students are expected to arrive on time. Students in the Performing Arts and Young Dancer programs are expected to attend every class in the level that they are assigned.
